Prelude to a Dictator
This isn’t a post. It’s a threat vector in plain sight.
On May 12, 2025, Donald Trump posted what at first glance looked like another frothing Truth Social rant. But read deeper, and it’s not a tantrum. It’s a doctrine — a coded manifesto of grievance, white nationalism, and authoritarian ambition. Line by line, he lays out a fantasy of absolute power disguised as patriotism. It’s not just unhinged. It’s dangerous.
🔴 "21 million illegal aliens..."
False. Weaponized. Calculated.
There are roughly 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S., according to Pew Research — a number that’s held steady for over a decade. Trump doubled it because panic sells. Because fear rallies crowds. Because lies make better fuel than facts.
And the word "invaded" isn’t casual. It’s a direct line to white nationalist rhetoric. The kind that inspired mass shootings in El Paso and Buffalo. This isn’t about security. This is a call to arms wrapped in a flag.
🔴 "Many of whom are murderers and criminals..."
Lies recycled from 2015.
Immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than native-born citizens. That’s not opinion — that’s FBI, CATO, and NPR data. Trump doesn’t care. He’s not after facts. He’s after permission — to dehumanize, to punish, to deport en masse. You can’t build camps unless you first build monsters.
🔴 "A radicalized and incompetent court system..."
Translation: The courts won’t do what I say.
This is a full-frontal assault on the judiciary — one of the last firewalls between democracy and dictatorship. He doesn’t accuse them of corruption. He accuses them of doing their jobs. And in Trump’s world, that’s treason.
🔴 "Crime-ridden third world nation..."
Racist. Inaccurate. Deliberate.
FBI data shows violent crime is down. But truth ruins the narrative. So he conjures a collapsing America, not because it’s real, but because fear breeds obedience. And white supremacy thrives on comparison.
🔴 "Our lawyers should state this FACT..."
Conspiracy masquerading as legal doctrine.
Trump wants Twitter-tier disinformation repeated as gospel before the Supreme Court. That’s not legal strategy. That’s sedition by process. When fiction becomes argument, justice becomes performance art for autocrats.
🔴 "I was elected in a landslide..."
He wasn’t. Not even close.
Trump won the 2024 election narrowly. 312 to 226 in the Electoral College. Popular vote margin: razor-thin. But he inflates the win because authoritarianism requires myth. If the win was overwhelming, then any opposition is betrayal.
🔴 "I must be allowed to do the job..."
Read that again. It’s not a request. It’s a warning.
This is not a man pledging to work within a system. This is a man threatening to destroy it if it won’t bend. He’s not saying he wants to govern. He’s saying he must rule.
🔴 "If not, we won’t have a Country anymore..."
The red button. The ultimate lie.
Trump has used this phrase dozens of times: about Twitter, immigration, masks, tech regulations, and now — the courts. It’s empty, desperate rhetoric meant to scare his followers into believing that he is the country. That without him, everything collapses.
🧠 Meta: The Authoritarian Algorithm
This isn’t just unhinged language. It’s a script. One we’ve seen before:
Manufacture a crisis
Cast yourself as the only solution
Attack the institutions that check power
Stir fear to justify force
Redefine resistance as treason
Rewrite a narrow win into divine mandate
This is not new. It’s just louder. And more naked.
❄️ Final Entry
Trump’s May 12 post isn’t about immigration. It’s about domination. It’s about using fear to burn the safeguards of democracy to the ground. If we shrug this off, if we treat it as just another rant — we are letting the blueprint for dictatorship be written in real time.
This is not a president defending America. This is a man declaring war on it.
